Finally After All This Time, I’m Beginning to Make Scents

2 Jul

I want to smell like SummerTime

As the seasons change, so should your perfume. Summer calls for something light and airy, so pack away those heavy musty perfumes, and make room for this season’s top selling items. I hope it is safe to assume that we all wear perfume. As respectable ladies, a little daily spritz here and there is a must. I for one never leave the house without having applied the appropriate amount of perfume, otherwise I actually feel naked and my day starts off unbalanced.

Here is a list of 5 of today’s most popular perfumes, from the very pricey to the rather cheap, the choices are endless:

Elizabeth W Magnolia Eau de Parfum combines white magnolia petals, saffron, sandalwood, and Riviera mimosa and gardenia to make a fresh scent reminiscent of romantic summer nights in old movies.

Acqua di Parma’s Blu Mediterraneo. This name has already sold me. I can just picture sitting on the beach in Santorini dipping my toes in the Mediterranean and smelling of fresh mandarin and bergamot..mmmm

My apologies for the miniscule size of the perfume bottles, but I just had to choose this picture, the background is beautiful. The price, not so much: $98

Bulgari Blu Notte is a nighttime fragrance, hence “notte” in its name. The blend is of galangal, iris and dark chocolate; sounds absolutely provocative, and totally scrumptuious.

Stila Midnight Bloom. Honestly who comes up with these names? They’re absolutely brilliant. This mist consists of sweet fig, sandalwood, and golden amber and is meant to be worn once the sun sets into night bringing about dark and mysterious things.

Hermès Un Jardin Sur le Nil. Ah Hermès, can we expect anything less than a blend of green mango, lotus blossoms, and cassia tree leaves found by the riverbanks of the Nile?
