Purses and Shoes, the Two Loves of My Life

25 May

While on my Italian excursion this past weekend I noticed that many Italian women carry Louis Vuitton purses. The brand was so prevalent that it made me wonder if, as a citizen of Italy, you are required to own one.

I am almost certain that many of the purses I saw were not real, considering there were vendors lining every street selling Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Chanel, you name it. It was just funny to see the citizens “representing” their culture.

Then again, who am I to judge? Maybe they were real and the fake stuff only appeals to tourists?

Fashion in Italy is on a level of its own though. I saw the most beautiful shoes while strolling along the streets of ritzy Capri. It almost made me sad that I am not the long-lost daughter of a celebrity or a king.

How fitting...This picture perfectly describes how I feel

Happy Shopping
